Domaine Tariquet

Domaine Tariquet –
Gascony wines from the Grassa family
Between Toulouse and the Landes de Gascogne Natural Park lies one of the largest family estates in France: Domaine Tariquet cultivates over 1100 hectares of vineyards in the heart of Gascony – a scale that rarely goes hand in hand with artisanal consistency, but here it does.
Founded in 1912 by Hélène and Pierre Grassa, the estate is now run by the fifth generation. What distinguished the family early on was their courage to create unusual grape variety combinations. Chardonnay with Sauvignon Blanc, Syrah alongside Tannat – cuvées that were considered daring at the time and today define the estate's style. Cool nights and fertile soils ensure wines with clear aromatics and vibrant freshness.
The result is wines that, despite their quantity, display character: approachable in style, yet specific in origin and craftsmanship. Whether an aromatic white wine for a summer evening or a robust red with a Tannat backbone – Tariquet reliably delivers what Gascony has to offer.
