Domaine Tariquet Premières Grives

A sweet wine from Gascony, named after the thrushes: Premières Grives – the first migratory birds of late autumn – marks the beginning of the late harvest at the Tariquet estate. Gros Manseng is harvested together with other late-harvested regional grape varieties when the grapes are fully ripe and concentrated.

In the glass, tropical fruit aromas – passion fruit, ripe mango, a hint of candied citrus peel – are enveloped in a vibrant freshness that balances the sweetness. Not a heavy dessert wine, but an elegant semi-sweet wine with a clear structure and a lingering finish.

Chilled to 8–10 °C as an aperitif, with blue cheeses such as Roquefort, with foie gras terrine, or with fruity desserts with peach and apricot. Awarded a gold medal each at Mundus Vini and the Berlin Wine Trophy 2022.

Domaine Tariquet

Domaine Tariquet – a French winery in the southwest, between Toulouse and the Landes de Gascogne Regional Natural Park. Founded in 1912 by Hélène and Pierre Grassa, it is now run by the fifth generation. Over 1,100 hectares of vineyards, a variable climate with cool nights, and fertile soils – ideal conditions for aromatic wines. What makes Tariquet special? The courage to combine grape varieties previously considered incompatible – Chardonnay with Sauvignon Blanc, for example. Syrah, Merlot, Tannat – over 10 million bottles full of character are produced here every year.
