Domaine Tariquet Rosé St.Amand
Domaine Tariquet Rosé is a charming, fresh rosé from Gascony, whose name reveals its production method: the red grapes are vinified like a white wine – directly pressed, without prolonged skin contact – which gives the wine a special freshness and lightness. The blend consists of Syrah (45%), Malbec (25%), Cabernet Franc (15%), and Merlot (15%) , combining the strengths of these four varieties into an expressive, fruity rosé with a distinct Gascon character.
In the glass, it displays a luminous garnet red with brilliant reflections . The nose is intense yet delicate, with sweet spice notes that evolve into an alluring duo of wild raspberries, strawberries, and rose petals . On the palate, it is fruity, juicy, and light-bodied, with a pleasantly crisp freshness, subtle spice, and a long, slightly floral and spicy finish with a delicate hint of salt. The wine is balanced, charming, and invigorating, without being heavy or cloying.
Awarded the Médaille d'Argent at the Concours de Paris, it is excellent as an aperitif and pairs perfectly with tapas, summer dishes, salads, light fish, Mediterranean or spicy cuisine. Served at 8–10 °C , it best showcases its fresh, lively character – an uncomplicated yet distinctive Gascony rosé that offers great drinking pleasure.
