Guy Saget – Loire wine with soul. Rooted in Pouilly-sur-Loire for nine generations, the Saget La Perrière winery now unites five estates along the river. Each with its own soil and character. The result: fresh Sauvignon Blancs with aromas of citrus and herbs. Elegant Pinot Noirs, light and expressive. Wines that simply work – as an aperitif or at the dinner table. Carefully cultivated, without gimmicks. Just what the Loire has been doing for centuries: vibrant life in the glass.

Saget La Perrière –
five estates, one Loire
Guy Saget stands for Loire wine that does not deny its origin. The family has been rooted in Pouilly-sur-Loire for nine generations – today, the house of Saget La Perrière manages five independent estates along the river, from Muscadet in the west to Sancerre in the east. Each estate brings its own soil: flint, limestone, clay – and thus its own character into the glass.
The Sauvignon Blancs show what the Loire Valley is known for: lively acidity, aromas of citrus peel and fresh herbs, a finish that asks for more. The Pinot Noirs turn out lighter than their Burgundian relatives – less wood, more fruit, more drinkability. Wines that fit just as well with an aperitif as with goat cheese, grilled fish, or a simple dinner during the week.
Cultivation is carried out carefully and without sensationalism – with the goal of expressing what the Loire has been capable of for centuries: liveliness, freshness, and a lightness that is not to be confused with arbitrariness.
