Produktbeschreibung

Six bottles, two countries, one clear concept: This tasting package combines three red wines and three white wines from Tuscany, the Palatinate, Friuli, and Southwest France. Anyone wanting to know how different wine can taste, smell, and feel will find a concrete answer here – without having to commit to a specific style beforehand.

The three white wines

\n\n

Domaine Tariquet Sauvignon Blanc – Domaine Tariquet (France, Côtes de Gascogne)
The Tariquet winery is among the pioneers of white wine culture in southwestern France. Their Sauvignon Blanc demonstrates what this grape variety can achieve in the warm, sunny climate of Gascony: an expressive nose with gooseberry, grapefruit, and lemon, a fresh herbal note, crisp acidity, and an invigorating finish. A wine perfect for enjoying on the balcony in summer or as an aperitif with goat cheese.

\n\n

Pierpaolo Pecorari Chardonnay Venezia Giulia IGT – Pierpaolo Pecorari (Italy, Friuli)
Straw yellow with golden highlights, fermented in barrels at controlled temperatures with weekly bâtonnage. The nose offers fresh apple aromas and floral notes, along with a slightly nutty undertone. On the palate, it is fresh, harmonious, and has a clean finish. A light and airy Friulian Chardonnay – good with grilled fish or mild soft cheeses.

\n\n

Hammel & Cie Blaue Stunde dry – Hammel & Cie winery (Germany, Palatinate)
A blend of Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc, where both varieties are fermented and aged separately before being blended. The result: honeydew melon, tropical fruits, grapefruit, and floral notes in a dense, juicy wine with a long finish. The name is fitting: a wine for the end of the day, when you've had a good day.

The three red wines

\n\n

Banfi Stilnovo Governo all'Uso Toscano – Banfi (Italy, Tuscany)
The Banfi winery in Montalcino uses the traditional Governo method for its Stilnovo: a portion of the grapes is partially dried and later added, giving the wine a special richness and vibrancy. The nose offers ripe cherries, plums, and a hint of clove; on the palate, it is soft, round, and has a velvety finish. Immediately approachable, without any waiting time – a good match for pasta with meat sauce or wood-fired pizza.

\n\n

Crazy Gaul Rot trocken – Matthias Gaul (Germany, Palatinate)
Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Tempranillo in a Palatinate blend – the Tempranillo brings a distinct Spanish influence. The result is a soft, velvety composition with captivating fruit notes, juicy and lively on the palate. An everyday wine with character, demonstrating how open the Palatinate has become to other wine regions.

\n\n

Philipp Kuhn Mano Negra dry red wine cuvée – Philipp Kuhn Winery (Germany, Palatinate)
The name comes from the blackened hands left by working with Blaufränkisch and Cabernet Sauvignon. Both grape varieties mature for 17 months in barriques – and it shows: cherries, cassis, and prunes on the nose, along with a peppery, spicy note and ripe tannins on the finish. The most serious red wine in the collection, good with game birds, lamb, or mature hard cheeses.
