Malesan Bordeaux Rosé

Malesan Bordeaux Rosé
An uncomplicated Bordeaux rosé that doesn't deny its origins: light raspberry pink in the glass, fresh fruit on the palate.
Malesan is the entry-level brand of the southern French winery Castel, one of France's largest wine producers. The Bordeaux AOC designation means the grapes come from the classic Bordeaux growing region, typically Merlot and Cabernet Franc as the basis for the rosé.
In the glass: clear aromas of redcurrant and raspberry, a hint of watermelon. Light on the palate, with crisp acidity and an uncomplicated, short finish. No oak, no heaviness — a rosé to drink, not to analyze.
Best served well chilled at 8–10 °C. Pairs well with a summer salad with strawberries and goat cheese, grilled salmon, or simply as an aperitif on the patio.

It would have been easier to rest on their laurels. But the Castell family thinks ahead. They preserve their expertise, pass on their passion to the next generation, and cultivate their châteaux and estates with joy and vision. For them, wine is more than a product: it's about culture. About sharing knowledge, exchanging ideas with chefs, sommeliers, and all those who love good taste. Producing regional wines and Grands Crus is one thing. Another is keeping nothing to themselves. Sustainably, responsibly, and with heart. Because at Castel Châteaux & Grands Crus, they live by the conviction that wine must follow its own vision. Persistently, boldly, and with a flame that carries on – from generation to generation.
