Château Siaurac Lalande de Pomerol

Château Siaurac Lalande de Pomerol
Lalande-de-Pomerol at its finest: Château Siaurac is the largest estate in the appellation and is located on the Néac plain, which seamlessly merges into the Pomerol plain – this directly influences the style.
The estate is part of the Castel Châteaux & Grands Crus portfolio and is symbolic of the entire Lalande-de-Pomerol appellation. The grapes are selectively harvested and then aged for 15 months in French oak – enough time to allow structure and fruit to meld together.
In the glass, this is a smooth red wine with aromas of black cherry, a subtle hint of spice, and gentle oak integration. The tannins are well-rounded, the finish fruity with a touch of oak. Not an angular wine – rather approachable and ready to drink.
Recommendation: Serve between 16 and 18 °C. Pairs well with pot roast, leg of lamb with herbs, or a ripe Camembert. Also a simple and enjoyable accompaniment on its own in the evening.
