Hangover Free Frizzante Alcohol-Free

A sparkling glass for everyone who abstains from alcohol but doesn't want to compromise on taste. The Katerfrei Frizzante Alcohol-Free comes from the Franconian cooperative in Sommerach am Main — one of the oldest winegrowers' cooperatives in Franconia, founded in 1901.

The base is aromatic grapes from Franconian vineyards, which are gently dealcoholized after fermentation. Fine carbonation ensures a lively effervescence in the glass. The nose reveals ripe white fruit—peach and nutmeg—with a fresh, slightly floral note. On the palate, it is slightly sweet, with a noticeable, fresh acidity that provides vibrancy and drinkability. The finish is short and clean.

Served well chilled at 6–8 °C, it makes a great non-alcoholic aperitif, is perfect for brunch, or as an accompaniment on hot summer days. It pairs well with light appetizers, fruit salad, or Asian finger food platters — and is a good choice for those who drive or are pregnant.

Winzer Sommerach

Winzer Sommerach is the oldest winegrowers' cooperative in Franconia – founded in 1901 by 35 winegrowing families who joined forces to survive during a time of phylloxera infestation and plummeting prices. Today, 90 families carry on this tradition, cultivating around 200 hectares on the Main River loop and tending the Sommeracher Katzenkopf vineyard, one of the most important sites in the region. Their motto, "High standards make the difference," is not just a slogan: every bottle can be traced back to a specific winegrower and their vineyard – transparency and community as a lived principle for over 120 years.
