Bacchus is the Franconian answer to uncomplicated summer enjoyment – ​​aromatic, lively, with a pleasant residual sweetness that makes the wine approachable without being too heavy.

The Sommerach winegrowers' cooperative is one of Franconia's most renowned winegrowers, located on the Main River between Volkach and Kitzingen. Its location on the Main's bend provides sandy, limestone soils that give the Bacchus grape its characteristic freshness. This grape variety – a cross between Silvaner, Riesling, and Müller-Thurgau – is native to Franconia and shows its best side here.

A vibrant bouquet unfolds in the glass: mango, pineapple, and a hint of passion fruit , along with a delicate nutmeg note typical of Bacchus. The palate welcomes the fruit with juicy, moderate acidity and a soft texture – the off-dry style ensures a smooth, luscious finish without any cloying quality. A short, fruity finish.
