Winzer Sommerach Frizzante Red Fruit Pearls

Winzer Sommerach Frizzante Red Fruit Pearls
A light red wine from Franconia that works without any fuss: sparkling, fruity, uncomplicated. The Valentin Frizzante Rote Fruchtperlen from the Sommerach am Maindreieck winegrowers' cooperative brings clear berry fruit to the glass – aromas of strawberry, red currant and a hint of raspberry, accompanied by a gentle, finely chiseled perlage and barely perceptible tannins.
The Sommerach winegrowers' cooperative is one of the established names in the Franconian Main Triangle, one of the warmest wine-growing regions in Germany. This is also reflected in this Frizzante: ripe fruit, soft structure, no harsh finish.
Serve well chilled at 8–10 °C – as an aperitif on the patio, with barbecues, or with red fruit desserts such as strawberry tart or pavlova. Also a delicious light accompaniment to goat cheese with berry dressing.

Winzer Sommerach is the oldest winegrowers' cooperative in Franconia – founded in 1901 by 35 winegrowing families who joined forces to survive during a time of phylloxera infestation and plummeting prices. Today, 90 families carry on this tradition, cultivating around 200 hectares on the Main River loop and tending the Sommeracher Katzenkopf vineyard, one of the most important sites in the region. Their motto, "High standards make the difference," is not just a slogan: every bottle can be traced back to a specific winegrower and their vineyard – transparency and community as a lived principle for over 120 years.
