Niepoort Tawny Port Junior 3 Years

“There are two distinct port worlds,” explains Dirk Niepoort… the darker, fruitier “Junior” Tinto and the lighter, cherry-scented “Senior” Tawny ideally represent the two categories. Both form a pair in blue and red and are delivered in individual boxes. The Niepoort logo is positioned so that, like a puzzle, it only becomes complete when both boxes are placed side by side. This visually illustrates that Niepoort is only complete when both port categories are present. The Niepoort Junior Tawny has a subtle sweetness, is approximately three and a half years old, and matured in small wooden casks. It presents itself in a brilliant red color and offers aromas of nuts and dried fruit. This Tawny ages well, but does not gain any additional quality from it.
