Nat'Cool Drink Me Branco

A naturally cloudy Vinho Verde that shows how this style originally was: light, lively, with a fine carbonation that was deliberately not filtered out by the winemaker Dirk Niepoort.

Niepoort is primarily known in Porto for its grand port wines and serious Douro reds — but with its Nat'Cool line, the winery proves it also has a knack for relaxed, everyday wines. The Branco comes from Vinho Verde, Portugal's cool, rainy northwest corner, where Loureiro and Arinto thrive on high-trained vines.

In the glass, it appears naturally cloudy with a pale yellow shimmer. The nose offers green apple, a hint of fresh yeast bread, and citrus zest. On the palate, it is lean, with crisp acidity and a lively effervescence that keeps the finish short and dry. The alcohol level is noticeably low—a wine that won't leave you feeling tired.
