Beisiegel Spätburgunder Weißherbst extra dry

Beisiegel Spätburgunder Weißherbst extra dry
A rosé sparkling wine made from pure Pinot Noir, classically fermented in the bottle and riddled by hand – according to the Méthode Traditionnelle, which the Beisiegel winery uses for all its sparkling wines.
Extra dry refers to a dosage of between 12 and 17 g/l residual sugar: softer than a Brut, but without sweetness. This benefits the Pinot Noir – strawberry and raspberry on the nose, a fresh acidity on the palate, and a dry, clean finish. The perlage is fine and consistent.
As an aperitif, it opens an evening without being overpowering. For a starter course, it pairs well with salmon tartare, burrata, or a mild charcuterie board. Serving temperature: 7–9 °C.

The Beisiegel winery in Traisen on the Nahe River is a true family business with deep roots: The family has been based in Traisen since 1579, and they have been bottling their own wines since 1959. Today, Walter and Alexander Beisiegel, the fourth generation, manage 13 hectares of vineyards in the Traisen and Norheim sites – characterized by porphyry and melaporphyry soils that impart a distinctive minerality and almost salty spiciness to the Rieslings. Without compromise in vineyard management and without aggressive chemicals, they produce wines that make their terroir immediately apparent in the glass.
