Beisiegel Riesling Estate Wine Dry 1.0L

An uncomplicated Riesling from the Palatinate that delivers exactly what a good estate wine promises: fresh, easy to drink, suitable for everyday use – in a practical liter bottle.

The Beisiegel winery is located in Maikammer at the foot of the Palatinate Forest, one of Germany's warmest wine regions. The Riesling vines for this estate wine benefit from sandy loam soil and the mild climate – resulting in ripe fruit with lively acidity.

Pale yellow in the glass with greenish reflections. On the nose, white peach, a hint of green apple and citrus peel. On the palate, juicy, medium-bodied, the acidity is present but not harsh – a round, pleasantly dry finish with subtle minerality.

Serving suggestion: Well chilled at 8–10 °C. Pairs well with tarte flambée, grilled pike-perch, asparagus with hollandaise sauce, or a simple salad with goat cheese. Also perfect as a summer wine on the patio – no fuss required.

Weingut Beisiegel

The Beisiegel winery in Traisen on the Nahe River is a true family business with deep roots: The family has been based in Traisen since 1579, and they have been bottling their own wines since 1959. Today, Walter and Alexander Beisiegel, the fourth generation, manage 13 hectares of vineyards in the Traisen and Norheim sites – characterized by porphyry and melaporphyry soils that impart a distinctive minerality and almost salty spiciness to the Rieslings. Without compromise in vineyard management and without aggressive chemicals, they produce wines that make their terroir immediately apparent in the glass.
