Beisiegel Yellow Muscatel dry
Yellow Muscat is one of the most aromatically expressive white wine grapes in Germany — and Beisiegel from the Palatinate shows how clear and direct this variety can be when it is made dry.
The Beisiegel winery in the Palatinate region has focused on precise, single-varietal wines. The Yellow Muscat grapes grow there on soils that impart the variety's characteristic spiciness and freshness.
In the glass, it displays a pale straw yellow. The nose is immediately present: mace, lemon verbena, a hint of white peach. On the palate, the wine remains lean and lively—the acidity is inviting without being sharp, the finish dry and slightly mineral. No weight, no oak notes—pure Muscat.
Recommendation: Ideal as an aperitif, with light appetizers, Asian dishes with lemongrass, or a summery goat cheese salad. Serving temperature 8–10 °C. Drink now—this wine thrives on its freshness.
