Château L'Hospitalet Grand Vin Blanc

A white Languedoc with real depth: Barrique fermentation and maturation on the fine lees give this cuvée a creamy texture that is rarely expected in wines from the south.

Gérard Bertrand has transformed Château L'Hospitalet in the La Clape appellation, directly on the Mediterranean coast near Narbonne, into one of the most renowned estates in the Languedoc. Biodynamic farming and the salty sea breeze shape the style of the wines.

This wine blends four southern French grape varieties: Bourboulenc, Grenache Blanc, Vermentino, and Viognier . The result is dense and juicy—white peach fruit meets roasted hazelnut, a subtle anise spice, and a salty minerality in the long finish. The oak aging is noticeable but well-integrated.
