Gérard Bertrand Cote des Roses Rosé

Gérard Bertrand Cote des Roses Rosé
The Côte des Roses Rosé by Gérard Bertrand is arguably the most famous face of Languedoc rosé — with its distinctive bottle, whose base is shaped like a rose, and a style that combines freshness and approachability.
Gérard Bertrand is one of the most influential winemakers of the Languedoc. On his biodynamically cultivated vineyards around Narbonne, he focuses on the classic southern French grape varieties of the Pays d'Oc. The Côte des Roses is made from Grenache, Cinsault, and Syrah—a trio responsible for the wine's delicate color and aromatic profile.
In the glass, it displays a light salmon color. The nose offers aromas of fresh strawberry, white peach peel, and a subtle hint of rosewater. On the palate, the wine is light-bodied with lively acidity, a touch of citrus freshness, and a short, clean finish. No oak, no sugar—direct and uncomplicated.
Serving suggestion: Serve well chilled at 8–10 °C. Pairs well with grilled salmon, gazpacho, a goat cheese salad, or simply as an aperitif on the patio.
