Orange Gold

Orange Gold
Orange Gold by Gérard Bertrand is for all those who want to discover wine off the beaten track – curious, open and with a joy for the unexpected.
This orange wine blends six grape varieties from the South of France: Chardonnay, Grenache Blanc, Viognier, Marsanne, Mauzac, and Muscat . What distinguishes it from a classic white wine is the deliberately chosen maceration period before fermentation —the grape skins remain in contact with the must for a specific time, giving the wine its characteristic golden-orange color and a subtly bitter, tannic structure . The result is a wine with real depth: fresh and vibrant, with a beautiful balance between fruit, texture, and a dry, elegant finish.
Orange Gold is a perfect match for any table setting and occasion where wine is meant to be more than just an accompaniment. Serve it slightly chilled with grilled vegetables, mature cheeses, or aromatic and spicy Asian dishes – it unfolds its full potential particularly beautifully with medium heat. It also makes an excellent aperitif for connoisseurs who appreciate variety.
