Bertrand Grand Heritage 1650 La Clape
The Grand Terroirs Coteaux du Languedoc La Clap displays a deep, dark ruby red color with violet highlights. The wine boasts an intensely aromatic, multi-layered bouquet of sweet, ripe red and black fruits, particularly blackberries, cherries, and red and black currants, finely interwoven with the warm, spicy, toasty notes from oak aging (toast, coffee). On the palate, this red wine is powerful, full-bodied, very juicy, opulent, and aromatic, yet simultaneously smooth, with a beautiful balance of sweet, ripe fruit and spice, fresh acidity, and velvety, mature tannins that lend the wine structure and impressive length.
