La Grande Bleue Magnum

La Grande Bleue Magnum
A bio-certified white wine from the Languedoc in a magnum bottle — the ideal companion for a long evening with several guests, which remains fresh from the first to the last pour.
Gérard Bertrand is one of the most famous wineries in the Languedoc-Roussillon. The company cultivates several domains between Narbonne and the Pyrenees, all according to biodynamic principles. La Grande Bleue is part of his entry-level range, which translates the strengths of the region — sun, garrigue, Mediterranean soils — into accessible, everyday wines.
In the glass, it shows a clear, light yellow wine with a lively acidity structure. Aromas of green apple and pear, plus a touch of lemon zest and a light herbal hint that reminds of thyme. The finish is clean and short — not a wine for long reflection, but one that refreshes in an uncomplicated way.
- Food: Grilled fish, goat cheese, pasta with pesto, or a summery salad with melon
- Temperature: 8–10 °C
- Occasion: Terrace evening, garden party, uncomplicated apéro
