Arjola DOC Cannonau di Sardegna Rosato 0.75L

A Sardinian rosé with a clear stance: The Arjola shows what Cannonau can do as a rosé wine — structured, dry, with Mediterranean character instead of pleasing lightness.

Argiolas is one of Sardinia's most influential wineries. The grapes for this Rosato grow in Guamaggiore and Selegas on calcareous clay soils with a silt content—soils that retain water and provide stability to the vines during the heat of the Sardinian summer. Warm, windy summers ensure healthy grapes with ripe fruit and natural freshness.

In the glass, the wine shines a bright cherry red. The nose reveals pomegranate, strawberry, and a hint of dried herbs—typical of Cannonau from the south of the island. On the palate, it is dry and firm, with lively acidity and a slightly spicy, mineral finish. Not a soft, easy-drinking rosé, but a wine with backbone.

Serving temperature 10–12 °C . Goes perfectly with grilled fish, vitello tonnato, pecorino sardo or antipasti with olives and capers — ideal for an evening on the terrace when it's still warm outside.

Argiolas

Argiolas – the cradle of the Sardinian wine renaissance. Founded in 1938 by Antonio Argiolas in Serdiana, the 230-hectare estate is now run by the third generation, his grandchildren. Antonio was ahead of his time: larger vineyard areas, a focus on quality. With legendary oenologist Giacomo Tachis as a consultant, his sons invested in modernization. Only indigenous grape varieties are cultivated – many almost forgotten. Vermentino, Cannonau, Monica, Carignano – the Mediterranean climate provides them with ideal growing conditions. The highlight: Turriga, regularly awarded three glasses in the Gambero Rosso guide. Sardinian, elegant, international. Over two million bottles produced annually – Sardinian wine culture for the world.
