Argiolas – the cradle of the Sardinian wine renaissance. Founded in 1938 by Antonio Argiolas in Serdiana, the 230-hectare estate is now run by the third generation, his grandchildren. Antonio was ahead of his time: larger vineyard areas, a focus on quality. With legendary oenologist Giacomo Tachis as a consultant, his sons invested in modernization. Only indigenous grape varieties are cultivated – many almost forgotten. Vermentino, Cannonau, Monica, Carignano – the Mediterranean climate provides them with ideal growing conditions. The highlight: Turriga, regularly awarded three glasses in the Gambero Rosso guide. Sardinian, elegant, international. Argiolas from Serdiana in southern Sardinia embodies what the island has to offer in terms of winemaking: indigenous grape varieties, a Mediterranean climate, and a family business that has consistently focused on origin since 1938. Antonio Argiolas laid the foundation – with the courage to cultivate larger areas and prioritize quality over quantity, long before this was common practice in Sardinia.

Today, his grandchildren run the 230-hectare winery in the third generation. Together with legendary oenologist Giacomo Tachis , they modernized the cellar and vineyard without losing sight of the essentials: Vermentino, Cannonau, Monica, and Carignano – varieties that are hardly cultivated elsewhere anymore. Sardinia's Mediterranean climate gives them depth, structure, and that unmistakable saline character.

The Turriga, a blend of Cannonau, Carignano, Malvasia Nera, and Bovale Sardo, is considered the estate's flagship wine – regularly awarded three glasses in the Gambero Rosso guide and proof that Sardinian wines can compete at an international level.
