Cantina Terlan Terlaner
This cuvée of three different grape varieties—Pinot Blanc (60%), Chardonnay (30%), and Sauvignon Blanc (10%)—presents a pale yellow color with greenish reflections. It captivates with a floral and fruity aroma, with hints of tropical fruits and apples. A delicate yeasty note is also discernible, which beautifully rounds out this robust and harmonious Terlaner. Aged for 6 months, 70% in stainless steel tanks and 30% in large wooden casks. Awarded #1 in the 2021 Wine Industry Wine of the Year competition.

Since 1893, the Terlan winery in South Tyrol's Adige Valley has stood for something that has become rare in modern winemaking: patience. What was once founded by 24 winegrowers as a cooperative to emancipate themselves from large landowners is today one of the most prestigious addresses in Alpine winemaking. Cellar master Rudi Kofler, who has shaped the winery since 2002, continues a philosophy established by his predecessor Sebastian Stocker in the 1970s: extended lees aging, consistent focus on quality over quantity, and a legendary wine archive of around 100,000 bottles dating back to 1955. Terlan proves that white wines from volcanic porphyry soil and an Alpine microclimate can be among the longest-lived in the world.
