Cantina Terlan Lagrein Rosé

Cantina Terlan Lagrein Rosé
A Lagrein rosé – that's South Tyrol in its purest form: the region's robust red wine grape, vinified into a fresh, characterful rosé. Cantina Terlan, one of the region's most renowned cooperatives, demonstrates here what's possible on the gravelly soils of the Adige Valley.
Founded in 1893, Cantina Terlan is now one of Italy's finest cooperatives—renowned for precise vinification, low yields, and meticulous attention to grape varieties. Their Lagrein Rosé is produced using classic rosé winemaking techniques: a short maceration period followed by temperature-controlled fermentation in stainless steel tanks. This process preserves the vibrant fruit and maintains the wine's freshness.
In the glass, it shines a rich raspberry pink. The nose offers pink grapefruit, red currant, and a hint of exotic fruit. On the palate, it is full-bodied and fruity, with clean, integrated acidity and a slightly bitter finish—typical Lagrein, also recognizable in the rosé.
