Beisiegel Norheimer Onkelchen Spätburgunder -S- dry

Beisiegel Norheimer Onkelchen Spätburgunder -S- dry
A Pinot Noir from the Nahe village of Norheim, which impresses with subtle power – soft tannins, clear fruit, no angularity.
Beisiegel Winery cultivates vineyards around Norheim on the Nahe River, a region known for its slate soils and mineral-driven wines. The name "Uncle" (or "Unclechen" ) reflects a personal touch – typical of family wineries that give their wines names rather than numbers. The "S" on the label signifies a selection: hand-picked grapes, reflecting higher standards for ripeness and quality.
On the nose, the wine opens with aromas of Morello cherry and dark plum, followed by a hint of dark chocolate and a touch of lavender. On the palate, it reveals velvety-smooth tannins, a medium body, and red berry fruit that lingers through to the finish – long, with a subtle spiciness.
