Terre di Montelusa Altopiano Nero di Troia

Nero di Troia is one of Apulia's oldest grape varieties – deeply rooted in the Murge plateau, where hot summers and gentle evening breezes produce berries with rich color and natural spice. Botter, a producer specializing in southern Italian terroirs, captures this character in the Altopiano: approachable, direct, and straightforward.

In the glass, a deep ruby red with a violet rim. The nose offers ripe blackberry and blackcurrant, along with a hint of clove and dark licorice. On the palate, it is juicy and rounded, with soft tannins and a fresh acidity that keeps the wine lively despite its richness. The finish is short to medium, with a slightly spicy note.

Serving temperature: 16–18 °C. Pairs well with pasta al ragù, grilled lamb chops, or spicy antipasti with salumi. Also enjoyable as an uncomplicated evening wine on its own.
