Terre di Montelusa Nero di Troia Rosato

A dry rosé wine from Apulia that showcases the autochthonous grape variety Nero di Troia in its lighter side: salmon-colored in the glass, lively in acidity.

Botter is a large bottling company from Veneto with many years of experience in marketing southern Italian grape varieties. The grapes for this Rosato come from Apulia – the long, sun-drenched heel of the boot, where Nero di Troia is considered one of the most traditional native varieties and otherwise usually yields robust red wines.

In the glass, it displays a clear salmon pink color. The nose offers aromas of red currant, strawberry, and a hint of dried hibiscus. On the palate, it presents a fresh, uncomplicated acidity, a light body, and a short, clean, and fruity finish.

Serving suggestion: Well chilled at 8–10 °C. Pairs well with grilled vegetables, light pasta salads, burrata with tomatoes, or as a simple summer evening drink on the patio. Best enjoyed young – no aging potential, but easy to drink.
