Schreckbichl Pfefferer Pink Rose

A rosé wine that doesn't do things by halves: The Pfefferer Pink Rose brings the aromatic power of the Goldmuskateller into a salmon-pink glass — lively, intensely fragrant, with a clear acidity line.

The Schreckbichl winery is one of the established cooperatives in the Überetsch region of South Tyrol and vinifies grapes from high-altitude vineyards between Bolzano and Lake Caldaro. Pfefferer—the local name for Goldmuskateller—is one of South Tyrol's most aromatic grape varieties and gives this rosé its distinctive style.

In the glass, it displays rose petals and white peach, along with floral notes typical of this Muscat style. The finish has a delicate hint of white pepper—hence the name. The acidity remains fresh and supports the wine without being harsh.

Serving temperature: 10–12 °C. Well chilled as an aperitivo, with light antipasti, grilled salmon or fresh goat cheese.

Schreckbichl Winery

Schreckbichl Winery – South Tyrolean winemaking since 1960. Twenty-six winegrowers joined forces back then to gain more independence. Today, there are approximately 300 members cultivating around 300 hectares between 230 and 650 meters above sea level – one of South Tyrol's finest vineyard sites. Tradition and modernity go hand in hand here: meticulous handwork in the vineyard, natural farming practices, state-of-the-art cellar technology, photovoltaics, and heat recovery. The portfolio includes Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Gewürztraminer, as well as Pinot Noir, Merlot, and Vernatsch. Authentic wines with regional character. Schreckbichl – a cooperative with a clear vision.
