Prail Sauvignon Blanc

The Prail Sauvignon Blanc comes from the Schreckbichl winery, one of the most prestigious cooperatives in South Tyrol, which has been known for decades for precise winemaking and an exceptionally broad terroir.

Sauvignon Blanc thrives in South Tyrol at altitudes between 500 and 900 meters – the cool nights preserve acidity and aromatics, while the warm days ensure ripeness and substance. In the glass, the typical characteristics of the grape variety are evident: fresh gooseberry, citrus grass, and a mineral, clean finish. No oak aging is used – the wine is cultivated for its fruitiness and varietal purity.

Serving temperature 8–10 °C. Pairs well with goat cheese, grilled asparagus, seafood or a light risotto with herbs.

Schreckbichl Winery

Schreckbichl Winery – South Tyrolean winemaking since 1960. Twenty-six winegrowers joined forces back then to gain more independence. Today, there are approximately 300 members cultivating around 300 hectares between 230 and 650 meters above sea level – one of South Tyrol's finest vineyard sites. Tradition and modernity go hand in hand here: meticulous handwork in the vineyard, natural farming practices, state-of-the-art cellar technology, photovoltaics, and heat recovery. The portfolio includes Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Gewürztraminer, as well as Pinot Noir, Merlot, and Vernatsch. Authentic wines with regional character. Schreckbichl – a cooperative with a clear vision.
