Louis Jadot Grands Echézeaux Grand Cru in HK
Grands Échézeaux is one of Burgundy's great names—a Grand Cru that grows on just 9 hectares between Vougeot and Vosne-Romanée. Louis Jadot, one of the most renowned négociant houses of the Côte de Nuits, has been bottling this vineyard for generations.
In the glass, it displays a deep garnet red with purplish-violet reflections. The nose offers ripe cherries and dark plums, along with leather, damp forest floor, and clove. On the palate, it is dense and structured, with silky tannins and a long, spicy finesse. The finish carries the typical minerality of the Côte de Nuits—clear, salty, and persistent.
Serving suggestion: Enjoy now with aeration (decant for at least 1 hour) or at its peak from 2027 onwards. Serving temperature 16–18 °C. Pairs well with wild boar loin with cranberries, duck breast, or mature Époisses.
