Family-grown Pinot Gris dry

A dry Pinot Gris from Franconia that combines substance and freshness — with the typical Franconian straightforwardness that suits this grape variety particularly well here.

Winzer Sommerach is one of the largest wine cooperatives in Franconia, based in the Main loop. What is special about the Familiengewächs line: every bottle bears the names of the participating winegrower families — not an anonymous cooperative wine, but traceable craftsmanship from the family business.

In the glass, it shows aromas of quince and a hint of honey, plus a clear mineral line that is typical of the shell limestone and Keuper soils around Sommerach. The palate is full-bodied without being heavy, the acidity is well-integrated, and the finish is clean and dry.
