Altavilla Cabernet Sauvignon Sicilia

The Altavilla Cabernet Sauvignon Sicilia from Firriato is an approachable red wine from the heart of Sicily – ideal for those who appreciate international grape varieties with a Mediterranean character.

In the glass, it displays a deep ruby red color. The nose opens with delicate aromas of blueberries, bilberries, and blackcurrants . On the palate, it impresses with a velvety, smooth texture – the result of careful aging: seven months in French and American oak barrels, followed by three months of bottle maturation.

Whether for a relaxed dinner or as an uncomplicated companion for guests – this wine goes with many things:

  • Grilled meat and lamb dishes
  • Mature hard cheeses
  • Hearty pasta with meat sauce

Serve it at around 17–18 °C and let it breathe briefly – then it will reach its full potential.
