Harmonium Sicilia

Harmonium Sicilia
Nero d'Avola in its purest form — and proof that Sicily's flagship grape variety can be both deep and elegant.
Firriato is one of the island's most renowned wineries. The volcanic, mineral-rich soils around Trapani give the Nero d'Avola a structure rarely achieved in hotter, flatter locations. Harmonium is the estate's flagship wine—named for the harmonious blend produced by twelve months of aging in French, American, and Russian oak barriques.
In the glass, it shines a deep ruby red. The nose offers ripe blackberry and plum, underpinned by a hint of cedar and dark cocoa. On the palate, it is medium-bodied with pleasantly velvety tannins—not heavy, but present. The finish is long and slightly spicy, with a lingering aftertaste of dried herbs.
