Israel
Israel is one of the most exciting wine-producing countries in the Mediterranean. Between the cool heights of the Golan Heights and the warm slopes of the Judean Mountains, wines of remarkable depth and intensity are produced. International grape varieties such as Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah thrive here, as do rediscovered local varieties—resulting in powerful red wines with a Mediterranean character, but also fresh white wines from cooler growing regions.
The Israeli wine scene has developed rapidly in recent decades and now attracts worldwide attention. At Vinoscout, you can explore this vibrant wine culture directly: The selection includes 12 Israeli wines , which you can discover starting from just under €14 — up to sophisticated bottles in the premium segment for around €40.

Israeli wines – Intensity from the Holy Land
Israel is one of the most exciting wine countries that many wine friends have yet to discover. The interplay of Mediterranean climate, cool altitudes, and a long winemaking tradition results in wines with real personality: full-bodied, sun-ripened, and yet surprisingly fresh. Especially the Golan Heights in the north of the country are considered one of the best wine regions – the altitude provides cooler nights, which give the wines structure and liveliness.
Golan Heights Winery – the benchmark in Israeli viticulture
Our assortment with 12 wines comes entirely from the Golan Heights Winery, one of the most renowned wineries in Israel. The wines appear under three labels: Yarden stands for the upscale line with classics such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Noir, Merlot, Sauvignon Blanc, and Chardonnay. Gamla offers solid, accessible red wines such as Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah at a very fair price. The Mount Hermon Rosé is an uncomplicated entry into the Israeli wine experience.
