The founding story of the Kyrö Distillery is just as Finnish as it sounds: five friends, a sauna, the question of why there is no rye whisky from the land of rye. Distilling has been taking place in Isokyrö since 2014, and it has since won multiple international awards.

The Malt Oloroso matures in sherry casks and brings dried fruit to the rye spice, the Wood Smoke relies on smoke from Finnish wood. The Pink Gin uses the same rye base and supplements it with lingonberry and rhubarb – a gin that does not taste like the juniper standard.
