Yarden Chardonnay

The Yarden Chardonnay from the Golan Heights shows a beautiful straw yellow in the glass: In the nose, aromas of citrus fruits, pears and apples appear. In the mouth, its beautiful structure, the full body and its complexity are shown.

The wine undergoes 7 months of aging in barrels made of French oak, which gives it a beautiful depth.

Quick answers

The Winery

Golan Heights Winery

The Golan Heights Winery – vineyards north of the Sea of Galilee, at altitudes between 400 and 1,100 meters. Volcanic soils, cool climate – the best conditions for wine. In 1983, four kibbutzim and moshavim joined forces and founded the winery in Katzrin.

In 1992, winemaker Victor Schoenfeld joined, with experience from France and America. His influence contributed significantly to the success.

The multi-award-winning Yarden line is adorned with a mosaic-decorated oil lamp. "Yarden" – the Hebrew word for Jordan. A wine region that surprises and inspires.
