Chateau Ste. Michelle Chardonnay Columbia Valley

The grape must was aged in new and used French oak barrels. Fermentation lasted eight days. The wine remained in the barrels for seven months, undergoing malolactic fermentation, with regular lees stirring. The Columbia Valley receives approximately two more hours of sunlight than California during the main growing season, which enhances the ripening of the region's grapes, as daylight facilitates the crucial photosynthesis necessary for sugar production and, consequently, flavor development. This rich Chardonnay seduces with abundant aromas of apples, honey, and lime. The acidity is perfectly integrated, and the finish is silky and beautifully balanced.
