Powerfully structured with softly integrated tannins, dense, concentrated berry aromas, and fine hints of caramel.
The berries were destemmed and fermented in steel fermenters with various pure yeast strains. The mash was flooded twice daily to extract optimal flavor and color during the nine-day maceration period. The Château Ste. Michelle Cold Creek Cabernet Sauvignon matures for 21 months in American and French oak, using a mix of new and one-year-old barrels.
