Yarden Sauvignon Blanc

The Yarden Sauvignon Blanc from the Golan Heights is a high-quality white wine that does not have to shy away from comparison with well-known European Sauvignon Blanc wines. Its extremely fruity bouquet is reminiscent of passion fruit, lychee, melon and some lime. Its depth is impressive for this price range.

A small part of the Sauvignon Blanc received barrel aging in French oak, which gives it a remarkable complexity.

The Winery

Golan Heights Winery

The Golan Heights Winery – vineyards north of the Sea of Galilee, at altitudes between 400 and 1,100 meters. Volcanic soils, cool climate – the best conditions for wine. In 1983, four kibbutzim and moshavim joined forces and founded the winery in Katzrin.

In 1992, winemaker Victor Schoenfeld joined, with experience from France and America. His influence contributed significantly to the success.

The multi-award-winning Yarden line is adorned with a mosaic-decorated oil lamp. "Yarden" – the Hebrew word for Jordan. A wine region that surprises and inspires.
