Gamla Sauvignon Blanc

Gamla Sauvignon Blanc
A Sauvignon Blanc that shows what cool, high-altitude locations can bring out of this grape variety: lively, aromatically precise, with a clear structure.
Golan Heights Winery is located in northeastern Israel, on the Golan Heights plateau at an altitude of 400 to 1,200 meters. The significant temperature variations between day and night slow down the ripening process and preserve the grapes' natural acidity. The winery is considered one of the leading producers of high-quality Israeli wine – Gamla is their approachable, everyday wine.
In the glass, the wine displays aromas of guava and lime , along with freshly cut grass and a mineral hint of flint on the finish. Cold fermentation at low temperatures preserves the fruit aromas and keeps the acidity vibrant – the result is a lively and fresh white wine that doesn't feel heavy.
Serving temperature: 8–10 °C. Pairs well with grilled sea bass , goat cheese salads, hummus with fresh herbs, or light pasta dishes with lemon sauce. Also a good choice as a casual aperitif. Drinking window: now until 2026.
