Zenato Bardolino Chiaretto Rosé

Chiaro means "light." Bardolino Chiaretto is the lighter version of one of Italy's most popular red wines, from the eastern shore of Lake Garda. This strawberry-colored rosé is not only a feast for the eyes; the cherry notes in the bouquet give this wine a distinctive fruity character that continues harmoniously on the palate. With this wine, Alberto Zenato proves that he makes masterful wines in every category that simply bring joy. Beautiful cherry notes in the bouquet, and on the palate, the finest harmony between fruit and freshness. Wine Enthusiast: 90 points (Best Buy)

Sergio Zenato

The winery was founded in 1960 by Sergio Zenato and, following his death, is now run by his wife and children. Located south of Lake Garda, the family business owns 75 hectares of vineyards, including those in the Valpolicella and Lugana regions, which are among the finest. Grape varieties such as Corvina, Rondinella, Trebbiano, Merlot, Garganego, and Chardonnay are cultivated on the mineral-rich soils. The optimal microclimate in this region provides the necessary conditions for producing grapes of exceptional quality. Sergio Zenato exports its wines throughout Italy, across Europe, and now even to the USA. Approximately two million bottles of wine are produced annually.
