Zenato Soave Classico DOC

Zenato Soave Classico comes from the historic heartland of the DOC – the hills around Soave and Monteforte d'Alpone, where volcanic basalt soils give the Garganega grape its typical mineral freshness.

Sergio Zenato established the winery in the Veneto region in the 1960s, and it remains one of the region's most trusted names. The Soave Classico embodies the approachable, easy-drinking style of the estate: light to medium body, lively acidity, and no oak aging.

In the glass, it displays aromas of white peach, almond, and a hint of chamomile blossom – a classic Garganega profile, cool and uncomplicated. The finish is fresh, with a light bitter almond note typical of a good Soave.

Sergio Zenato

The winery was founded in 1960 by Sergio Zenato and, following his death, is now run by his wife and children. Located south of Lake Garda, the family business owns 75 hectares of vineyards, including those in the Valpolicella and Lugana regions, which are among the finest. Grape varieties such as Corvina, Rondinella, Trebbiano, Merlot, Garganego, and Chardonnay are cultivated on the mineral-rich soils. The optimal microclimate in this region provides the necessary conditions for producing grapes of exceptional quality. Sergio Zenato exports its wines throughout Italy, across Europe, and now even to the USA. Approximately two million bottles of wine are produced annually.
