Wolfberger Cremant Brut Alsace AOC

Crémant d'Alsace produced using the traditional method – secondary fermentation in the bottle, lees aging, and disgorgement. Wolfberger, one of the major winegrowers' cooperatives in Alsace, based in Eguisheim, brings the region's typical aromas to the glass.

Straw gold with a fine, persistent perlage. On the nose, fresh grapes, green apple, and a hint of white blossom. On the palate, dry and crisp, lively acidity, and a clean finish with good length.

Serve as an aperitif at 7–9 °C . Pairs well with Alsatian tarte flambée, quiche Lorraine, smoked salmon, or creamy Munster cheese. Drink promptly – no aging potential.

Reviews

perfect Crémant from Alsace

For me, this is the original home of Crémant. This one tastes fresh, has a lovely fine perlage, and is absolutely worth the price. You can really drink it anytime.

Wolfberger

Wolfberger is the leading wine brand of Alsace – founded in 1902 in Eguisheim, known under this name since 1976, and still a benchmark for Alsatian quality. Around 450 contracted winegrowers cultivate 1,200 hectares of vineyards stretching almost 100 kilometers from north to south, encompassing 15 Grand Cru vineyards and approximately 13,000 parcels. As the largest Crémant producer in Alsace, Wolfberger produces roughly half of the region's sparkling wines – using the traditional method of extended lees contact. Organic certification for more than 15 years and several ISO awards attest to its serious commitment to quality and sustainability.
