Wolfberger Gewürztraminer Grand Cru Stallion AOC

The Grand Cru Gewürztraminer Hatschbourg possesses the typical aromas of rose petals, ripe candied fruit, and sweet spices. On the palate, this rich aroma is complemented by a long, fruity finish. The Grand Cru vineyard of Hatschbourg, already mentioned in the High Middle Ages, lies between the villages of Hattstatt and Voegtlinshoffen in the southern part of the Alsace Wine Route, on a gently sloping hillside. The vineyard's unique characteristics are its heavy, deep, and exceptionally well-drained soils, which ensure outstanding viticulture with direct sunlight and a south- or southeast-facing aspect. This Grand Cru vineyard represents all four noble grape varieties. Regardless of the grape variety, the typical character of the Hatschbourg Grand Crus is expressed in its pronounced aromas and excellent aging potential. Mundus Vini Gold Medal for the 2019 vintage.

Wolfberger

Wolfberger is the leading wine brand of Alsace – founded in 1902 in Eguisheim, known under this name since 1976, and still a benchmark for Alsatian quality. Around 450 contracted winegrowers cultivate 1,200 hectares of vineyards stretching almost 100 kilometers from north to south, encompassing 15 Grand Cru vineyards and approximately 13,000 parcels. As the largest Crémant producer in Alsace, Wolfberger produces roughly half of the region's sparkling wines – using the traditional method of extended lees contact. Organic certification for more than 15 years and several ISO awards attest to its serious commitment to quality and sustainability.
