Wolfberger Pinot Gris Vielles Vignes

An Alsatian Pinot Gris with the characteristic smoothness of old vines – full-bodied, aromatically dense and yet well-balanced.

Wolfberger is one of the most important winegrowers' cooperatives in Alsace, founded in 1902 in Eguisheim. The Vieilles Vignes label refers to older vines that, due to deeper roots and lower yields, produce more concentrated grapes – clearly noticeable in the glass.

The color is a brilliant golden yellow. On the nose, ripe peach, apricot, and a hint of beeswax unfold – typical of Pinot Gris from Alsace, which here gains depth through the age of the vines. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied with a soft texture, a touch of residual sweetness, and a long finish in which the apricot fruit blossoms once more.
