Wolfberger Riesling Signature

A classic Alsatian Riesling with a clear line: fresh, citrusy, dry – uncomplicated in the best sense.

Wolfberger is one of the largest winegrowers' cooperatives in Alsace, based in Eguisheim, founded in 1902. The Signature line features grapes from the typical limestone-clay soils of the Alsatian Rhine plain, vinified for fruitiness and drinkability rather than aging.

In the glass, it displays a yellow-green color. The nose offers fresh citrus fruit – lemon and grapefruit – complemented by ripe pear and a delicate hint of white blossoms. On the palate, it is light-bodied with lively acidity that keeps the wine lean and invigorating. The finish remains citrusy and short.

Wolfberger is the leading wine brand of Alsace – founded in 1902 in Eguisheim, known under this name since 1976, and still a benchmark for Alsatian quality. Around 450 contracted winegrowers cultivate 1,200 hectares of vineyards stretching almost 100 kilometers from north to south, encompassing 15 Grand Cru vineyards and approximately 13,000 parcels. As the largest Crémant producer in Alsace, Wolfberger produces roughly half of the region's sparkling wines – using the traditional method of extended lees contact. Organic certification for more than 15 years and several ISO awards attest to its serious commitment to quality and sustainability.
