Santa Digna Cabernet Sauvignon Reserva

Deep ruby ​​red with garnet to tan highlights. Aroma: The bouquet of this Cabernet Sauvignon from Bodega Vigna Santa Digna offers plenty of typical dark Cabernet fruit (ripe blackcurrants, blackberries) alongside spicy notes of leather and licorice. On the palate, this red wine impresses with dark fruit and spice, accompanied by very elegant and silky tannins that linger through to the finish. The grapes for Santa Digna Cabernet Sauvignon come from select vineyards in the Valle Central, the most suitable for this grape variety. Harvested at optimal ripeness from late March to early May, the grapes were immediately transported to the winery, where they were first crushed and then fermented in stainless steel tanks for seven days at controlled temperatures of around 25 to 28 °C. After a total maceration period of almost three weeks, the wines were carefully racked and transferred to French oak barrels, where they aged for six months.
