Viña Sol Original

Viña Sol Original from Torres is one of Spain's most famous white wines – and rightly so for decades. Light, fresh, and easy to drink, it's the ideal companion for anyone who wants to enjoy a carefree evening with a good glass of wine without having to think about it too much.

In the glass, Viña Sol displays a pale straw yellow color with greenish reflections. It combines the typical Catalan grape varieties Parellada and Garnacha Blanca to create an aromatically vibrant white wine: apple, pineapple, and a hint of citrus meet a slightly exotic finish that lingers for a while. The grapes are harvested from mid-September, pressed immediately, and then fermented for two weeks in stainless steel tanks at a controlled 15°C – entirely without oak. The result is a freshness and clarity in the glass that is instantly apparent upon tasting.

Open it well chilled to 8–10 °C and enjoy:

• with light tapas, seafood or grilled fish
• with fresh salads and Mediterranean vegetables
• as a relaxed aperitif on a warm summer evening on the terrace
