Altos Ibéricos Crianza Rioja DOCa

Altos Ibéricos Crianza Rioja DOCa
A single-varietal Tempranillo from the Rioja DOCa — classically vinified, with the signature of a house that has shaped winemaking in Spain since the 17th century.
Torres, based in the Catalan Penedès region, is one of the most renowned wineries on the Iberian Peninsula. With their Altos Ibéricos Crianza, the family has extended their operations to Rioja—Spain's most prestigious wine region, a DOCa since 1991. Tempranillo dominates the hills of the Ebro Valley and is the leading grape variety for powerful, structured red wines.
In the glass, the wine displays a deep, vibrant red. The nose offers aromas of dark blackberry, wild berry jam, and a hint of vanilla, derived from aging in oak barrels. As a Crianza, it has spent at least twelve months in oak barrels—this imparts rounded tannins, a noticeable structure, and a warm, spicy finish with notes of leather and dried herbs.
