Porto Finest Reserve Adriano 19.5% vol Tawny Port 0.75L
The Adriano Finest Reserve Tawny from Ramos Pinto bears the name of the company founder – and this name once carried so much weight that Brazilians in bars would simply order "an Adriano" when they meant Port wine. This history is in every bottle.
Ramos Pinto was founded in 1880 in Vila Nova de Gaia and is one of the most traditional houses in the Douro Valley. The Adriano is a blend of wines with an average age of around six years – typical for a Tawny Reserve, which derives its amber hue and suppleness from controlled oxidative aging.
In the glass, it shows the characteristic Tawny notes: dried figs, orange zest, and a hint of roasted nuts, all embedded in a velvety, non-sticky sweetness. The finish is warm and pleasantly long; 19.5% ABV carries it without burning.
Served well-chilled at 10–12 °C, it accompanies crème brûlée, walnut cake, or strong blue cheese. Those who drink it neat with an espresso are also doing nothing wrong.

The Ramos Pinto winery dates back to 1880, when Adriano Ramos Pinto laid the foundation for the wine production that bears his name. The estate developed rapidly and achieved worldwide renown – not least thanks to its membership in the Roederer Group. After business flourished in its home country of Portugal, exports to the Brazilian market began. Today, Frédéric Rouzaud manages the winery, continuing the tradition of five successful generations.
